My first hearing of this lecture left me with the impression that Alan had presented his case well. I will need to listen again though to see if it is as convincing as it first seems.
Alan,

My man, fantastic! I was blown away. Loved it. I think one reason I was so blown away is because I had just finished a little write-up on 2 Cor. 5:1-4 myself (for a futurist baptist pastor friend of mine) and low-and-behold here you addressed it as well in your presentation (obviously from a difference angle, and much better I might add). I will definitely be taking your presenation and putting it on a CD for him (he is fairly old and technically challenged) to listen to. Since he just finished reading my write-up (which I still need to talk to him about now that he has), I think your presentation will reinforce it just that much more.

Keep up the work.

-Rich

P.S. I am working on plans to possibly come down to your conference. I sure want to. Hopefully things will work out. Also, if you wish to read my article you can get it here:

Rich,
Thanks so much brother! I look forward to reading your article. And man, you've got me excited! I hope you can make it to the conference! I'd love to see you again.
Great article Rich. I just read it. Strait-forward and to the point. How can anybody ignore the clarity of what you put forth? Well done.
Alan,

Ok I'm a coming. Just booked my flight.

See ya in September.

-Rich
Rich,
Yahoo! That rocks! I'm so excited. I don't know if you've registered yet, but you can do so at http://www.messiahreformed.com/NCE_Conference.html. While you're there, if you wish to have free transportation, you can submit your flight information on the form there, and Wanda will arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the airport.

Sweet! See you in September!
Allen Bondar!

I see you made the mistake thinking that "YOU" could somehow reason with folks at SGP and get a different response then the basic fundamentalist mantra.

"Alan, if you're not willing to answer questions then why come here? I'm not interested in lectures, I don't have time or willingness to hear a lecture on something I already know is guesswork."

This has been the standard SOP with these folks and why they are being seen for the intolerant fanatics that chase most people away from Christianity.

He goes on to say "If your answers take 10 pages to make, then they are probably being stretched to the limit. We're all capable of giving short answers. The fact that yours can't be kept short but require a lecture says it all."

This is some of the saddest excuses for an argument i have seen.

Looks like Chuck's hope " Hopefully we can keep this totally constructive." Didn't get far.

I personally agree with what Norm said "I won't really take anyone serious until they have demonstrated a solid attempt at refuting these hour long programs and have met them head on in like manner."

Mike Bennett has been stuck on animal crackers and milk for the last two years and i don't see any chance of him ever being able to switch to some steak and a good glass of wine :)

But good luck trying Alan i applaud your effort.
Sorry Allyn,

I meant that for Allen Bondar .I fixed it and sorry for any confusion.

Thanks
I'm still a bit confused: Who's Allen? (LOL)
Wise guy EH? LOL ...ALAN!!!

I enjoyed your lecture.Stii need to listen again and take my notes and then probably take another listen them.

Took me about six months to listen to last years conferences over and over with notes...But was worth it at the end
While I'm not a guy that's very wise, I am a wise guy on occasion!

I will say that as long as conversations remain interactive instead attacking, I'm glad to discuss. I must say that Michael Bennett has been extremely courteous to me. And so far, I have nothing negative to say about him. I think he is capable of a friendly conversation. He has proven that. And I am very appreciative of our interaction so far. It sounds like you have all heard these arguments before, but perhaps we need better answers. Or, perhaps I just haven't read them myself yet. Do any of you have a good answer to animal issue, or can you direct me to something I can read or listen to about it? I know the answers are there, I just haven't figured it out yet.
Alan ,

Youre a good man!

Long live the animals and the Sea peoples ;-)
