Profile Information

What is your denomination ?
Non-denominational Christian
"About Me"
Software Analyst and Software Tester.
I've recently discovered in the last few years that I am a flaming liberitarian. I think America is in big trouble as the elites have taken over and are robbing us, our children, and our grandchildren BLIND. The out-of-control spending in Washington DC and the unjust wars being fought over seas are ruining our country.

On a lighter note, I love the Bible and am always striving to learn more about the amazing scriptures and God's amazing grace.

Married, 3 kids, 11, 10, and 8. I like Golf, Poker, Basketball, Jogging, and Talk Radio (when I'm not surfin' the net).
Do you have a favorite theologian ?
Jesus Christ / Paul the Apostle
What is your Eschatological Position ?
Covenant Eschatology / ALL prophecy is fulfilled, including all aspects of the resurrection and judgment.

Daniel 9

Why do dispensationalists separate the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel 9 by an undetermined period of time when there is no precedent to do so? The kingdom made without hands that would last forever (Dan 2:44) appears during the 4th kingdom (Rome). The 70th week fits perfectly with the earthly ministry of Jesus (first 3 ½ years) and the gospel being preached to the Jews (second 3 ½ years, Christ being “cut off” in the mist of the 70th week was His crucifixion). Remember, the prophecy in Daniel 9 was for “thy people and thy holy city”. The end of the 70th week was when the Jews rejected the gospel and it was then offered to the gentiles (Acts 13:46). Notice Paul says that it was “necessary” to offer the gospel to the Jews first. Why? To fulfill the 70th week. There is no reason to have a “gap” between the 69th and 70th week.

Enoch - Random Musings, Questions, and Observations

Posted on July 21, 2009 at 12:30am 5 Comments

I recently "discovered" the Book of Enoch. I've known it existed for a long time, but because it is not included in this bound book in front of me that we call the Bible, I had never given it much thought. When I would read the book of Jude and get to verse 14, I would pause and think "who is this Enoch that Jude is quoting? Where is it from? It is the Enoch from Genesis 5?" Back then, it made sense to me that whatever Enoch was, it must be reliable as why else would Jude quote it? Anyways,… Continue

Reconciliation for Iniquity

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Dan 9:24 (KJV)

Continuing in a look at the seventy weeks of Daniel, we now consider the phrase "to make reconciliation for iniquity." The… Continue

The Inconsistent Cessationist

Posted on February 9, 2009 at 10:13pm 1 Comment

During the sermon I heard this past Sunday, the Pastor made mention that he is a cessationist. By this, I assumed that he believes the miraculous gifts of the apostolic age have ceased. I believe his view could be summed up as classical cessationism in line with the views of John F MacArthur:

“Classical cessationists assert that the sign gifts such as prophecy, healing and speaking in tongues ceased with the apostles and the finishing of the canon of Scripture. They only… Continue

To make an end of sins

In examining Daniel 9:24 to see if it were fulfilled, can we conclude the bible teaches that there has been an end of sins for… Continue

Hi Brian- yea I always heard of Roseville near Sac, but I maqquested it, and it had two Rosevilles: yours and one in SD. I lived in SD for 14yrs, and never had heard of a Roseville there. In your pic I saw what's called the Coronado bridge and guessed that was the ballpark. I live with the hillbillies now in Kentucky, but I miss that perfect SD weather!.......Craig
