IMO the covenant with Adam as head completely ended AD 70. The same covenant still exists with a different head. Adam's job was to sway all flesh families not just his own. He fell and God renewed the covenant with the first sacrifice. Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses all renewed covenant and became major players in God's plan to make human in his image. Jesus became the completed image of God in a human(same word as Adam). His final covenant renewal changed heads.

Colossians 2:9 In him is dwelling the filling of the deity bodily. 2:10 And ya'll are in him who has been filled, who is the head of every original and authority.

@2:22 leave the teachings of the humans concerning unclean things, foods and holy days because they were a shadow and the reality is in the anointed Jesus. loose paraphrase

Noah was not descended from Abraham, wasn't he in the resurrection? After Moses was preached in every city because the descendants of Abraham were scattered into the four kingdoms of Daniel the whole known world was invited to be born again into God's family. The four original flesh families are represented in Peter's vision of the sheet. The non humans were all invited into the newized covenant in spite of Peter's reluctance to let us into his family. I'm his brother and there is nothing he can do about it.
