O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1 This is the written account of Adam’s family line.
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named…Continue

Joel McDurmon, with American Vision, posted this new article on Eschatology:
"While 2 Peter 3:13 is definitely related thematically to Isaiah 65, it is a mistake to think that there is an exclusive relationship between the Isaiah passage and any New Testament usage, as if Isaiah were…Continue
To the members of Death is Defeated:
We have recently uncovered widespread instances of plagiarism by one of our former members here, Ken Palmer. We initially discovered two instances involving names familiar to most of us here which occurred on another forum where Ken posts: He copied large sections from articles by both Ward Fenley and Sam Frost and passed the writing--the scholarship, the ideas, the work--off as his own. Of course these were blatant, glaring instances of…

Sam Frost "The last line is quite funny, since I taught the same thing. Scargy is “glorified”. Then, does this not mean he should never get it wrong? How do these glorifed, perfect, without sin, redeemed body sons of God sin?"
Let's ask James Jordan Sam.
‘It seems to me that an understanding of the language in Matthew 27:52-53 as ‘special effects’ with eschatological Jewish texts and thought in mind is most plausible. There is further support for this interpretation. If the tombs were opened and the saints being raised upon Jesus’ death was not strange enough, Matthew adds that they did not come out of their tombs until after Jesus’ resurrection. What were they doing between Friday afternoon…Continue
CNN did an interview with Steve Green, the president of Hobby Lobby, who happens to collect rare documents. In the interview he shows a fragment from the book of Romans which he says was discovered “within the last 48 hours”! The fragment has on one side a portion of chapter nine and on the other side a portion of chapter ten. Green says it was Scott Carroll of Baylor University who made the discovery. The fragment dates to…Continue

There is a problem in the partial preterist world. They are slowly running out of “unfulfilled” passages of Scripture. It is not necessary to go into great detail, because any honest observer will admit that over the past 30 years "fulfillment" has been the course de jour. Beginning with passages such as Daniel 12 back in the 1990's and even up into the present day with Joel McDurmon's new book, Jesus vs. Jerusalem, partial preterist exegetes have…Continue

DEATH THROUGH SIN
A contention exists among some traditionalist that there was no death even in the animal world until Adam sinned. To support this idea, about one half of one verse in Romans is cited: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin…”…Continue
