"Even Time magazine could not ignore the resurgence of Calvinism, ranking the “new calvinism” as number 3 of the 10 ideas changing the world right now. Full preterism isn’t even on the radar."

Here is an interesting new twist on an old theme.
Seems that Inter-Varsity Fellowship has gone Eco-crazy based on... wait... let me guess. Well, how about if you just read it for yourself. See if you can spot how the common Christian view of Genesis 1 mixes with futurism. That isn't anything new, as even former preterists love to model in their recent gyrations.

I posted this question on a forum that I belong to and was requested to post it here.

Oh man, this was a spectacular journey into realized redemption! You would hardly not believe they weren't preterist were it not for one song (which itself is very preterist) that at the very end they say "Oh Lord come." The music itself is among the best I've heard in contemporary Christian music.
Get a load of the lyrics from…Continue
I recently posted this response on a personal blog with some others but no one has responded to it yet so I’m going to repost it here in hopes I can get some interaction with some of you here on DID. My premise is in response to questions concerning the Judgment upon the Nations and the timing of it in relation to AD70 and judgment upon Israel. IMO it appears from all indications that Judgment must first occur concerning Israel and then Judgment occurs upon the Nations. As many of…Continue
I wanted to share with the readers of DID some thoughts and details concerning a recent book that I have just finished reading. It’s called “Jesus The Temple” by Nicholas Perrin and you can order it and read some reviews here at Amazon. I going to quote Peter Leithart’s review of the book and also add a few thoughts myself. I’ve listed the Table of Contents as well for folks to glimpse the outline of his…Continue
