John Pilger says in the film: "We…
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

They've announced a new Preterist Bible translation at SGP, and I can't wait to check it out. They're asking for comments and so forth once it's published. Also, for a name, how about:
FCS - First Century Standard Translation
ECS - Early Church Standard Translation
I think that would catch on much more readily than: Preterist Bible Translation
Any other ideas?
Just as FYI, I have created a couple new websites, both on Biblical Prophecy.
1) www.whiteroberesurrection.com - This site puts most of my arguments for IBD (Immortal Body at Death), that is we can a brand new body at death as opposed to the old body being resurrected, in one place.
2) www.thepatternofprophecy.com - These…Continue
I want to add a little more to the discussion of Adam and the 1000 years millennium idea found in Rev 20 that I spoke on a couple of weeks ago.
I have posted recently…Continue
Here is the link to the Messiah Reformed Church's Christmas Eve service titled: Coffee Shop Christmas
We set up the building to look and feel (and smell :-} yummmm) like a coffee shop and the ambiance was informal and intimate and warm. We even had small tables covered with paper that you could draw on with crayons and all kinds of flavored cream for the coffee and hot…Continue

As I am reading BCS, graciously donated to me by John Scargy, I promised I would provide updates about how I was finding the book. The updates I have given so far are below along with the comments that ensued:

Much attention in recent years has been devoted to the influence of Greek philosophy on Christian doctrine. This has been especially true in regard to the nature and attributes of God. Some have also contended that Christian eschatology has been negatively influenced by…Continue
We’ve been working through Denis O. Lamoureux’s book Evolutionary Creation: A Christian Approach to Evolution – a book that describes a way to move beyond the creation and evolutions debates. Chapter 4 of this book describes the role that ancient science plays in the text of scripture. The…Continue

I posted a question over on RCM regarding John Walton's thesis on Functional Creation. No one replied except Sam, and he seems to think that it could be a "devastating insight" rather than a question. I was in private correspondence with John Scargy concerning the question and he suggested that I post the question over here on DID to see if any of you folks could help out. Hence the reason for this blog post.

These following responses of mine were on another forum in which there were questions about the condition of man outside of Christ post AD70 if Death in Adam had been removed. Here are some of my thoughts and eventually we are going to get to Ecclesiastes 3 and take an eschatological view of it.
Here was my take on Adam and sin and being "dead". I consider the state of pagan mankind at the time of Adam to be outside of God [Eph 2:12] and so gross "Sin" abounds as…Continue
